My name is Newresa and I am a high school student. My major is Fashion Design. My major covers computer graphics, machine and hand stitching, draping, and pattern making (draping and patternmaking basic and advanced). Currently, I am studying draping and pattern making. 

              In my draping class I have made a front and back bodice drape, front and back skirt drape, princess drape, corset drape with muslin, and skirt drape with fabric. I  took pictures of these drapes. I have also completed projects which consisted of a Fashion Design Presentation on Microsoft Powerpoint or blog, and a wiki based on the history of corset.

              In my pattern making class, I have made patterns full scale and smaller versions to go in my pattern making binder. I have made front bodice dart patterns, and neckline patterns. Currently, I am sewing a vest based on my original french and waistline dart pattern.

              Besides my draping and pattern making classes,my academic classes are Math B, English, and AP U.S. History. In my Math B class I am studying trigonometry. In my English class I am studying American Literature and in my AP U.S. History class, I am studying America during the 1800s.
